Getting Started...

With all of the changes in our geckos, we figured it might be a nice to keep people up to date with the latest news on our breeders, our babies, and our eggs. Breeding geckos is not our full time job (one of us is an armored truck driver, the other a teacher) but we dedicate most of the time we are home to our pets.

We are currently home to two hedgehogs (Oatie and Noodles), a blue tongue skink (Pumbaa), a hamster (Moose), 3 cichlids (Panda, Crabs, Jelly), a orange tabby (Milo), and 8 crested geckos. You may be thinking it probably smells like a zoo there! We try our best to make sure it doesn't... but if you have never had a hedgehog, they give a whole new meaning to poop. We also have a small sewing business (sweetteascraps.com) where we make bags for small animals.

But onto the most important part...THE CRESTIES!
It all started in late 2009 with 2 baby geckos, followed shortly after with another 2 babies (all of which are our current breeders).... After going along steadily for quite some time living altogether, Spike had to be removed because of aggression (and poor Goliath lost his tail over it). This left Goliath and his two ladies, Gambit and Rafiki. They seemed uninterested in each other until the day after xmas 2010 we found Gambit laying eggs.

The first clutches from both females did not make it because we simply had no idea they were in there. We currently have 8 eggs incubating at a beautiful white color. We have since purchased a female from Gecko Greatness (Nala) for Spike and are hoping to find eggs literally tomorrow morning [she buried herself a little bit ago].  We also have an amazing looking Brown Flame (Phoenix) who we are super excited about and it honestly doesn't matter if it turns out to be male or female. We have two other unsexed geckos [one from Dragonslare, the other from Daniel Lito] that will hopefully all be a future breeding group.

We treat all of our animals like pets. They are all spoiled rotten. Our geckos all live in naturalistic terrariums and are feed CGD and dusted crickets. While we would love to bring out some amazing traits in the offspring, our goal is to raise healthy geckos that will make a great companion for the novice or expert.

So there it is in a nut shell... our gecko history. We'll be sure to post more photos soon :)
