Many have found new homes!

If you have been on the unsexed or available page lately, you probably noticed that there are many geckos missing.... welp, they aren't missing, they've found new homes!! 5 of them have gone locally while 5 others will be heading to their new home in West Virginia on Monday (weather permitting). It is exciting to have our geckos be admired by others but also sad to watch them go... can't keep them all though, that could get dangerous.

We have put Phoenix up for sale... sub-adult female. We've watched her grow for the past 6 months when we got her from a man shipping off to the Marines... she's such a beauty, we've never seen anything quite like her, but we also can't find a male for her so we are offering her for sale. She is NOT ready to breed but should be by the end of the year, should her next owner decide to breed her.

There are still some geckos who need their photos updated, don't worry it's coming. We've been super busy (I still have to move my entire classroom to another building before school starts on the 29th!) but no worries :)

Check out the Updates!!!!

We finally got our light tent in the mail! It took a little time to get use to but its taking great pictures now. Be sure to check out the new pictures. Also updated are the "unsexed" page with all of our babies and the available geckos section. These pages will be fully updated in the near future.

Since our last posting, we have had 4 new hatchlings: Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Boris and Natasha. Their weights and pictures are listed under unsexed section. Here is a preview of the new babies.

Little busy...

We have to apologize for the delay in updating both weights/photos/and the available page. We had our annual camping trip for a good portion of the week/weekend, only to get a phone call [right before we got to SEWERfest on the way home from camping] saying there were bad storms the night before and the hedgehog's cage was blown across the room and the container with the eggs (which were set to hatch so the pair were taking out of the incubator box) was on the floor. Hedgehog was no wheres to be found, geckos were no where to be found. One egg had clearly hatched, and the other was completely missing. Oatie was found not far from his cage, unharmed. After tearing apart the rest of the room, only one of the geckos was found, tailless, but okay. His name is Houdini :) Still have no idea where the other egg went, whether the cat or hedgehog ate it or what.

Anyhow... our first Goliath x Bagheera egg hatched earlier this week... but unfortunately, was the very first of our hatchlings not to make it, passed away two days later. He did incubate for 70 days but it just wasn't long enough for him. :(

New pairing: Raja & Timon!! Both are of weight and are getting along great... two orange pinstripe geckos, sounds good right?

Goliath & Bagheera have been separated, Goliath has only been focusing on Bagheera and not his food so it was time for a TIMEOUT. Brooklyn will soon be ready for Goliath so we hope he gets to eating like a pig.

It looks like Gambit laid her first infertile egg... meaning we may need a BRIGHT yellow patternless male soon. :)

If you have been following our available page, here's the lineup that will soon show up on it:
Doc, Uno, Littlefoot, Pebbles, Ren, Stimpy, Lilo and Stitch.

We've had several people ask about Chevy, and unfortunately, s/he will be held back and we don't have intentions of selling Chevy at this time. Flotsam & Jetsam will eventually be for sale, but we are watching their colors develop.

I (Teresa) have gone back to working part-time-ish and grad class has started again so it's getting hard to update often. School [work!] will be starting in a few weeks as well, but Ryan will soon be doing updating as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or send us an email at
